Getting started

Hi there, folks!

I have learned a lot from international content with regards to woodworking, which is why towards the end of 2024 I decided it’s time to give something back – or maybe even add on. So I launched a secondary channel of MDS in English for an international audience and on Jan. 1st I uploaded the first video:

But since the I was quite hesitant to uploading any further content, simply because I wasn’t quite sure what exactly should be the first thing to show and talk about. Where should I start?

Well, then I came to the realization that it actually doesn’t really matter. What matters is to get started at all. Since it will be rather unlikely anyway that viewers would even go back in the list of videos on this channel and watch every single one of them – especially in a couple of years time. And I already learned that it takes time to even get noticed on such a large platform as YouTube is, which is to expect, in particular when offering content to what probably is the largest audience of all.

And well, at the time of editing this video no one has ever even heard of MDS … but hey, so what?!

It’s already the middle of February and things around here will soon get pretty busy. So it’s time to get this little project going, meaning: it’s time to edit some content and put it out there.
